The Tour-X5 is a completely redesigned helmet, packed with innovative features. As with all Arai products, protection remains the top priority in every enhancement. This new model brings us one step closer to Arai’s ideal shape for rider safety.

One of the most significant upgrades is the visor system. The new VAS-A visor system evolves from the VAS-V (originally developed for the RX-7V), optimizing glide performance by increasing the surface area for impact energy dissipation. Simultaneously, it simplifies visor and peak installation and removal.

The visor itself has been fully redesigned to expand the field of vision and enhance gliding. Now featuring a Max Vision design, it supports easy Pinlock insert installation. The VAS-A system also enables tool-free swaps between different visor types—choose from:

  • Adventure (long-distance)
  • Off-Road (off-road)
  • On-Road (road)
