The Tour-X5 is a completely redesigned helmet, packed with innovative features. As with all Arai products, protection remains the top priority in every enhancement. This new model brings us one step closer to Arai’s ideal shape for rider safety.

One of the most significant upgrades is the visor system. The new VAS-A visor system evolves from the VAS-V system (originally developed for the RX-7V), optimizing glide performance by increasing the surface area for impact energy dissipation. Simultaneously, it simplifies the process of installing and removing both the visor and peak.

The visor itself has been reengineered to expand the field of vision and enhance glide capability. Now featuring a Max Vision design, it seamlessly accommodates a Pinlock insert. The VAS-A system also enables tool-free swaps between different visor types—choose from:

  • Adventure (long-distance)
  • Off-Road (off-road)
  • On-Road (road)
