The Tour-X5 is a completely redesigned helmet, packed with innovative features. As with all Arai products, protection remains the top priority in every enhancement. This new model brings us one step closer to Arai’s ideal shape for rider safety.

One of the most significant upgrades is the visor system. The new VAS-A visor system evolves from the VAS-V system (originally developed for the RX-7V), optimizing glide performance by increasing the surface area for impact energy dissipation. Simultaneously, it simplifies installation and removal of both the visor and peak.

The visor itself has been fully redesigned to enhance:

  • Field of vision
  • Glide efficiency

Now featuring a Max Vision visor, it supports easy Pinlock insert installation. The VAS-A system also enables tool-free swapping between different visor types, including:

  • Adventure (long-distance)
  • Off-Road (off-road)
  • On-Road (road)
