The Tour-X5 is a completely redesigned helmet, packed with innovative features. As with all Arai products, protection remains the top priority in every enhancement. This new model brings us even closer to Arai’s ideal shape for rider safety.

One of the most significant upgrades is the visor system. The new VAS-A visor is derived from the VAS-V system (originally developed for the RX-7V), optimizing glide performance by increasing the surface area for impact energy dissipation. It also simplifies visor and peak installation and removal.

The visor itself has been redesigned to enhance visibility and glide efficiency. Now featuring a Max Vision design, it allows for easy Pinlock insert installation. The VAS-A system also enables tool-free swaps between different visor types—choose from:

  • Adventure (long-distance)
  • Off-Road (off-road)
  • On-Road (road)
