The Tour-X5 is a completely redesigned helmet, packed with innovative features. As with all Arai products, protection remains the top priority in every enhancement. This new model brings us one step closer to Arai’s ideal shape for optimal rider safety.

One of the most significant upgrades is the visor system. The new VAS-A visor system evolves from the VAS-V system (originally developed for the RX-7V), delivering:
✔ Enhanced gliding performance—thanks to a larger surface area for better impact energy dissipation.
✔ Effortless visor & peak installation/removal—simplified for quick adjustments.
✔ Expanded field of vision—the visor is now a Max Vision design, compatible with Pinlock inserts for fog-free clarity.

The VAS-A system also allows tool-free visor swaps, letting you switch seamlessly between:

  • Adventure (long-distance touring)
  • Off-Road (rugged terrain)
  • On-Road (road-focused riding)
