Dainese Smart Air Airbag System – Replaceable D-air® Road Shield gas generator for the Smart Air airbag, an innovative airbag system by Dainese.

The system’s core strength lies in its triple-activation air cushion, powered by a built-in gas generator that end users can easily replace independently thanks to the Fast Replacement System (FRS). The airbag itself must be replaced by authorized personnel after three activations.

Replacing the D-air® Road Shield gas generator is particularly useful because the airbag can be quickly reset after a fall, allowing you to get back on the road without visiting an authorized dealer for a full replacement.

The D-air® Road Shield generator contains argon, helium, and a pyrotechnic charge and can be transported by air after notifying the airline.
